Step 1.
Make sure that you are eligible for the rebate before the installation process. Nova Heat Pumps does not guarantee heat pump rebates.

Step 2.
Make sure your contractor supplies you with a detailed invoice. This will ensure your new equipment meets the Green Heat invoice Guidelines for Efficiency Nova Scotia. See the link below for a downloadable PDF Guide from Efficiency Nova Scotia.

Step 3.
Take photos of your new system as you will need this as part of your application process.

Step 4.
Get a copy of your power bill as it is required for the application.

Step 5.
It’s time to apply for the rebate! Visit the Efficiency Nova Scotia website and use their online system to create an account, or log in if you are an existing customer with them.
You will need to fill out the application form and upload your invoice and photos.

Step 6.
Contact Nova Heat Pumps to be your mini-split heat pump contractor.
